Buying a new game console can sometimes take a huge chunk of change out of your pocket and for some gamers the Xbox One X is just out of reach due to it higher price tag over the Xbox One S and even the standard PlayStation 4. This is where Xbox All Access jumps in
So the guys at Microsoft thought to themselves “how can we get more people playing on the Xbox One X” and after a bit of head scratching they came up with a plan that will make the console a lot more affordable for gamers on a tighter budget. Their plan is to offer a two year subscription that will include the world’s most powerful console. Reports from Windows Central and The Verge have suggested that it will be called Xbox All Access and it will include the Xbox One X, Xbox Live Gold and the Xbox Game Pass.
Both sites have said that the subscription should cost $34.99 a month, which is less than what most people pay for their cellular plans. Or you could go for the Xbox One S for only $22 a month. However, at these prices there is no reason to get the Xbox One S, as it only costs $13 less a month. Now there is a catch, like most off Microsoft’s offerings, it will only be available in the US at launch, but we hope to see this offer spreading to other markets in the near future.
So if you don’t have the budget to drop around $500 on the Xbox One X, then this will be a very attractive package as in the long run you will actually save money on this deal. However, the Game Pass doesn’t always offer the latest or greatest games, so it’s more of a “nice to have” and not a “must have” unlike the Xbox Live Gold subscription.
