After the success of Far Cry 5, it comes as no surprise that Ubisoft announced their latest addition to the franchise late last year, with the game continuing in Hope County. And while Ubisoft has been quite good with their news updates about the game, they have mainly been story and character updates. However, one of the most important updates just landed, the all important “will my PC be able to run this game” news update, AKA, the system requirements for New Dawn.
Now granted it does not include the newly added AMD Vega VII or the Nvidia RTX 2060, however it is safe to say that both these cards will be able to play the game without issue, with the former of the two cards having no issues hitting over 60fps for 4K gaming. There’s also a list of controllers (Gamepads) that will work out of the box with New Dawn and this is great news for those who prefer them over the traditional keyboard and mouse setup. I know I will personally be playing it with my Xbox Elite controller. If you were hoping to play this title with either the Ryzen 3 2200G or the Ryzen 5 2400G, we have bad news for you as they are not part of the “any Radeon Vega series” cards listed in the approved cards down below. However, it might be playable with low settings and a slight overclock and we will be testing this on our Ryzen 5 2400G when the game releases.
Without further ado, here are the specs for Far Cry New Dawn.
