Love it or hate it, Fortnite is hugely popular and here to stay. So it came as no surprise when Eurogamer reported that Fortnite will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
An apparently leaked list of E3 Nintendo game titles has been circulating the web. Among the list of new titles was Epic Games Fortnite which is insanely popular on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and on mobile devices. It was just a matter of time before Epic Games decided to release the game on one of the bestselling console currently on the market.
Eurogamer.net has confirmed that the list is authentic and that Switch owners should expect an official announcement soon. However, there is no further information other than the fact that it is planned for release. There has also been no mention about pricing, however, the games are free to play on the other platforms and it would make sense to keep with the winning formula for the release on the Nintendo Switch.
